​HOW WE GOT STARTED:  It all started with a dream...A dream to be aware of the products of what we were buying and a desire to buy from companies that matched our values.  We found it quite difficult to access these types of businesses easily.  We felt that we weren’t alone.  We were putting in a lot of hours of research and felt it a waste not to share the information with the public.  Here at A Mindful Purchase (sometimes we shorten it to AMP), we are committed to making it easy for mindful consumers to support local businesses that support humane, eco-friendly, fair trade and/or sustainable options.  We also offer an on-line business directory when what you are looking for cannot be found locally.  If you have a business or know of a business that would be interested in being a part of our free AMP directory, sign up here.
